Hi Dave, How come I had to pay $20 for your books when ordering from the number listed in the book and the charge is $15 if I order here? My cousin Dennis Gallagher who I sent your third Memories book to for his 70th birthday, was very pleased. He said he “followed your Grinnell High School basketball exploits religiously.” (His dad got the HR at his office after they moved.) He also said that your dad gave him his first haircut before 1949 and each time he would visit our grandmother (Mrs Gallagher) he made a point of “needing” a haircut from Ave. Denny was born in Grinnell but moved to Belmond when we was about to start school. He loves the book. Hope all is well with you. Barbara Segrest Froeberg

Thanks for the heads-up. The $15.00 price was a special and intended for a limited time as I had accumulated several
boxes of books in my (small) office and I wanted to sell them. I had neglected to change the price back
to the regular $20.00 per book plus 3.00 shipping, which I have now done. Xlibris Book Store sells my books also and their prices
vary also. . Glad that Dennis Gallagher enjoyed the book and thanks for the mention of Ave Adkins, he was a popular
guy in downtown Grinnell when he was in his prime. . . Regards. Dave A.
